“I am” statements formulate, affirm, and perpetuate the stories you tell yourself. Stories about who you are, who you can be, and what you can do. Read these I Am affirmations and take what you need. Take what serves your healing and joy, and leave the rest.

If you want to make a change, start where you are. Start with who you are. Support yourself right here, before you have all the answers. Do that and you’ll feel more supported in the process. And that can change, well, everything.

27 I Am Affirmations for Healing, Purpose & Abundance (4)

  1. I am full of life and filled with possibility.
  2. I am ever-expanding yet whole; wise enough to know that there is plenty left to learn; humble and happy as I grow.
  3. I am grateful for who I am and can be.
  4. I am devoted to uncovering the gems that are already here.
  5. I am enough and I have everything I need to get to where I want to be.
  6. I am a magnet for the experiences I most desire.
  7. I am grateful for every gift that I’ve been given, have now, and have yet to receive.
  8. I am an alchemist.
  9. I am worthy enough to tune into the abundant nature of who I can be and what I can create.

If you want to see a miracle, give thanks for abundance until you start to believe it's who you are.

  1. I am a living, breathing example of the kind of world I want to live in.
  2. I am a powerful force for good in the world.
  3. I am on the right path. I am moving in the right direction.
  4. I am worthy of all things wonderful.
  5. I am being guided to what’s best for me and everyone else.
  6. I am powerful enough to live in accordance with my own values, desire, and truths.
  7. I am in the exact place I need to be to get to where I want to be.
  8. I am intentionally promoting a life filled with joy.
  9. I am a firm believer in my ideas.

Every “I am” is true, if you repeat it enough.

  1. I am a survivor.
  2. I am always healing, and never alone.
  3. I am willing to see things differently, even if I’m not ready to yet.
  4. I am learning to let go of fear.
  5. I am learning to respect the process when I do not understand it.
  6. I am allowed to feel good about myself.
  7. I am not the negative thoughts I think.
  8. I am ready to release the stories in my head and forgive myself for believing everything my inner critic has ever said.
  9. I am willing to see the truth about myself, no matter how beautiful it is.

The stories you tell yourself over and over again are the stories you believe, and the stories you affirm by how you live and love.

. . .

Tell me:

What new story are you ready to tell yourself?

Tell me in the comments. I read every single one, and I’d love to know!

With love,

Jen

P.S.Tell yourself the things you want to come true. Get my book Morning Affirmations to help you in the morning, and Sleep Affirmations to help you at night. This is your LIFE, after all.

The stone the builder rejected will become the corner stone, that’s ME!. Rejected by my older brother and sister, cause jealously and deviant genes. Born into the wrong family, poor gene make-up from both parents.
I want to turn around all the hate in my family and turn this house/farm into LOVE. Good must overcome evil.
More finance would help so please let me be a magnet for wealth and prosperity.

The psychological danger of constantly using “I” is that “I” becomes embedded in our subconscious, so much so that in the ‘real world’, socially and in relationships, this can take over and one can easily become focused completely on one’s self rather than others as well as cultivating the ‘sense of entitlement’ that we find so unappealing and socially unacceptable in others and the “return to being SELFISH”.

It takes a logical mind to overcome the “I” mindset and to realize that these affirmations MUST not taint our social and personal relationships.

Hello. Love the post I only disagree with the “not” ones. Your subconscious doesn’t get the “not” for example
“I am not the negative thoughts I think.”
Your mind will think “I am the negative thoughts I think.” I would just change it to “I am all the positive thought I think” or “I am in love with myself and all the positive thought”
Just wanted to put it out there don’t use “not” stay away from it and change it to positive ones. Thank you

Ryan, wow. Thank you for writing this and sharing it here, for being open and vulnerable about the topic. I know it’s not easy to do that. I’m touched that these affirmations can be part of your healing process and your changes. I love what you said about your pain being a portal to understanding others better, because we’re not the only ones who have gone through such heartache and struggles. It’s a reminder that we’re here, together, and we’re more similar than we are different, at the core of it all. “I am.” Sending you my love.

These have me in tears. I usually don’t believe in the power of these things…what i saw as regular affirmations..i usually stick to just I am verses of the bible. But today im back on this page..crying as i read out every beautiful post..I am statement.
What story do i want to tell myself? So many. That I am worthy. That I am a perfect creation..having a good heart. Even if I am just human. I want to feel loved. I cannot accept other people if I cannot accept myself?! Im not sure. I just want my story to be beautiful.
These affirmations you posted are amazing. Thank you for them.
    Best wishes to you.

Hi! Thank you so much for writing these wonderful affirmations, when I was reading through them I wrote whoever wrote these has a really good way with words. I’ve created a notepad which has become like a prayer book that I read every morning, it starts with appreciating the life I’ve been given, then prayers for my family members and friends and then I wanted to finish my morning ritual by telling myself who I want to be. I remember watching a youtube video where a person said we should be called ‘I am’ because it’s who we are. The more I thought about it the more it resonated and that’s what lead me to find some inspiring I am affirmations so I could tell myself who I want to be.
So I’ve wrote down nearly all of these to say every day and I thought I must add one of my own that comes from my own heart so I wrote:
I am not a victim of life and circ*mstance rather a memoir of compassion and understanding.
I think through years of depression I’ve only recently realised I kept leaning on this traumatic experience to define me and excuse myself for my behaviour and all the joy in my life just faded away, the more I kept being a victim. So I want to use that experience to say now I can understand others, I am not the only one who has experienced this and that it’s made me who I am today, and now I can use that to help and understand others.
Again, thank you for these wonderful affirmations, they will be cherished daily.

    kind regards

    Ryan
