Two weeks ago, I was given the unique opportunity to travel to Israel with 20 other like-minded founders/executives/investors/Zionists, mostly involved in the NY tech scene (they needed a cannabis guy to round out the group). Specifically, we participated in the first-of-its-kind, week-long, rebuilding projects in Re’im -- one of the Kibbutzim that Hamas hit the hardest on October 7th.Re’im is adjacent to the site of the Nova Music Festival, about 5 minutes away. We helped start the rebuilding process of the main community center in Re'im, which will also eventually include a beautiful wine bar. We walked the grounds of the Nova Music Festival and also went to Nir Oz, another kibbutz that Hamas destroyed (where Kfir Bibas is from - the youngest baby taken hostage into Gaza).Seeing the devastation caused by these terrorists was heart-wrenching and what I saw will be forever ingrained in my mind. While in Nir Oz, I took our group to the INTERCURE facilities, to show my peers what a commercial cannabis facility is like, and where binske is growing in Israel -- we are aiming to launch our flower line of products sometime around the start of 2025. Nevertheless, it was the most uplifting and incredible trip of my life. On October 8th (the day after the attack), the entire Kibbutz of Re’im evacuated to Tel Aviv and no residents had moved back since. Imagine the flood of emotions we experienced knowing that 3 different families moved back to Re’im while we were there for the week, 6 months after 10/7. The locals were calling us the heroes for our work — we were far from it.Thanks to Ryan Daniels and Aviv Lazar, we had an incredible lineup of speakers throughout the entire trip. Thought-provoking conversations with our group of caring, interested, and engaged entrepreneurs had a lasting impact. Many of the friends I made will be friends for the rest of my life. To continue sharing stories and be impactful here in the US, I am hosting a Nova Music Festival survivor in Miami next week. Nehoray Levy is his name. He is 24 years young and saved roughly 60 festival-goers that morning at Nova. 10 of his closest friends got murdered, and he decided to stay back and help people run for their lives as the terrorists were starting to shoot at them. Nehoray and I will be doing a talk at Temple Beth Am on Monday, April 15th at 7:00 PM in Pinecrest, FL. We will then do another talk at Temple Beth Sholom (Miami Beach), on Wednesday, April 17th at 6:00 PM -- thank you Mark Baranek. NEW JERSEY!!!We are days away from launching in New Jersey, and I couldn’t be more jazzed about it. We will be doing a similar rollout to what we did in Massachusetts, where we will be exclusively sold at Ascend Wellness Holdings (CSE: AAWH.U / OTCQX:AAWH) stores in Fort Lee, Rochelle Park, and Montclair to start. 5+ years ago, I had an idea for an innovative product in the cannabis space…the ability to stack vape cartridges to vape two different oils at one time. I worked on different ways to do so, and decided to file a patent on this technology over 4 years ago. The patent was granted about a year and half ago. This week, the product finally launched. The vape cartridge is called THREDZ™ (as the stacking occurs via the threads of the cartridges), and it allows vape users to stack multiple cartridges on top of one another which lets the consumers “blend” or “mix-and-match” different strains and flavors. When you order ice cream or gelato, don’t you always prefer to get a couple of different flavors? When you roll a joint, don’t you like to make a nice blend of a couple of strains? I partnered with Jupiter Research, LLC, who is doing all the manufacturing and distribution. Please reach out to them directly for samples. I studied engineering at The University of Colorado in Boulder, so this is a full circle moment for me as my worlds of engineering and cannabis collide. We are officially live in Massachusetts!!!!Mass becomes our 7th US state of distribution with a handful of more launches taking place over the next few months (NJ, IL, & NY).Binske is exclusively for sale at the Ascend Wellness Holdings (CSE: AAWH.U / OTCQX:AAWH) stores in Boston, Newton, and New Bedford. Flower, pre-rolls, and infused mini pre-rolls to start! Double Baked Cake and Zest Zinger are my personal favorite strains of the bunch.
