Players can unlock the legendary Avatar Aang and his loyal sky bison Appa in the latest Fortnite event pass
The Fortnite Avatar crossover is in full swing, with the Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass arriving in-game allowing players to pick up some cosmetic items in exchange for completing quests.
A crossover between Fortnite and Nickelodeon's Avatar franchise has been building up since Chapter 5 Season 2 launched, with the announcement of the Korra secret skin in the battle pass. Korra released earlier this month and brought a Waterbending mythic item alongside her. Still, the questions everyone had were 'What about Fire, Earth, and Airbending?' and 'Where is Fortnite Aang skin?'.
Well, now the other shoe has dropped, with Epic Games launching the Fortnite Avatar Elements pass. This not only includes the Aang skin as a reward, but in celebration of the pass, new Airbending, Firebending, and Earthbending mythics have joined the game alongside the already existing Waterbending. But, you can't have the other elements without their masters, so thankfully some more Fortnite Avatar skins arrived too, including the Firebender Zuko, and the Earthbender Toph Beifong.
With the bending techniques arriving in game, Epic Games has sent the powers of the Greek Gods into hiding, so you won't be able to take advantage of the Wings of Icarus, Zeus' Thunderbolt, or the Chains of Hades while the Avatar event is live.
Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass Rewards
The Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass is split into two separate paths, the first is a free path open to anyone which unlocks seven free cosmetics and four level up tokens. Then there's the premium pass which is available for 1,000 V-Bucks and features seven more cosmetics and four more level up tokens, on top of all of the unlockable items in the free pass. The Aang Skin and Lego Aang Skin will be given to players for simply purchasing the premium pass.

The following is the list of items players can unlock in the Fortnite Avatar Pass for free. You can earn Chi by completing the Avatar missions in Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.
- Elemental Cycle Spray – 1,000 Chi
- Four Elements Banner Back Bling – 2,000 Chi
- Level Up – 3,000 Chi
- The Four Elements Loading Screen – 4,000 Chi
- Level Up – 5,000 Chi
- Draymin Guitar – 6,000 Chi
- Level Up – 7,000 Chi
- My Cabbages! Emote – 8,000 Chi
- Laughing Toph Emoticon – 9,000 Chi

Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass Rewards – Appa Glider
Players can also unlock the Appa Glider in the Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass. However, Appa isn't included in the reward tracks but is unlocked by completing the Avatar quests.
To unlock the Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass Appa Glider you need to earn all six Chakras. Completing four quests from each batch of missions in the Fortnite x Avatar event will unlock a Chakra, earning all six will nab you the Appa Glider free of charge, even if you haven't bought the premium version of the pass.

The Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass quests are split into six batches, each focusing on a different element, the event kicked off with some Water-themed quests, with Earth, Fire, Air, Light, and Sound.
Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass quests – Water Chakra
Here's the full list of Water Chakra quests in the Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass, which is live now. Completing all of these will nab you 350 Chi each, resulting in a nice 2,100 Chi in total.
- Visit an Elemental Shrine
- Deal 1,000 damage to opponents with Waterbending
- Land on Water from the bus twice
- Receive 25 health via passive healing with Waterbending by entering water
- Destroy a cabbage cart
- Restore 500 shields
Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass quests – Earth Chakra
Here's the full list of Water Chakra quests in the Fortnite Avatar Elements Pass, which is live now. Completing all of these will nab you 350 Chi each, resulting in a nice 2,100 Chi in total.
- Land at an Elemental Shrine from the bus
- Travel 100 distance while sliding
- Destroy 50 Stone structures
- Visit Mount Olympus and Coastal Columns
- Collect 3 cabbages
- Use Rock Wall and hit an opponent with Throw Rock
You'll need the Earthbending mythic to complete the last quest in this group, as Throw Rock and Rock Wall are the two techniques available with the item.

The Fortnite Avatar Elements pass will be available until May 3, 2024 at 7am BST / 2am EDT and May 2, 2024 at 11pm PDT, so you'll have an extra week after the final Chakra's unlock to complete the quests and nab that Appa glider.
